Have you ever asked God, Why?

Blog #3

Have you ever asked God a simple yet a very complicated question, “Why/Bakit”?

Unfair ba Siya?β€” well, definitely not and He will never be unfair to you.

Let me share you this.
Though, syempre tao lang tayo, madalas talaga nakararanas ako na umiyak tuwing gabi asking the Lord why is He allowing me to experience such pain, heartbreaks, struggles, family problems that are too hard to handle. Kaya ang ginagawa ko nalang after ko mag-breakdown, I just open the Bible, meditate His Word at mag-pray (believe me, iba ‘yong relief kapag nakapagbasa ka ng Word Niya at nag-pray habang umiiyak sa Kanya). ❀

Sa kabila ng lahat lahat ng pain na naranasan ko, you know what makes me stand up again and again? Ito ‘yong thought na, the reason why God is allowing us to experience such heartbreak, pain, struggle in a very challenging, unfathomable and painful way (‘yong tipong masakit na pero may mas isasakit pa pala πŸ˜‚) because the LORD HAS SOMETHING THAT HE WANTS US TO LEARN FROM THAT SITUATION. May gusto Siyang ituro sa paraang hindi natin maintindihan pero kailangan nating pagdaanan para rin sa ikalalago natinβ€” maybe for us to grow more, mature more, and trust in Him more.

Iyan palagi ‘yong iniisip ko kada may masakit akong pinadaraanan, and yes, sa tulong nito nakakabangon ako ulit at nagagawa kong i-convert into something positive ang negative situation na nangyari.

Kapag ganito palagi ang magiging thinking natin whenever we encounter unexpected pain, heartbreaks, troubles and circumstances in different areas of our lives… siguro masaktan man tayo, hindi na ganoon kasakit kasi alam natin na si Lord ang nag-allow nitoβ€”and He didn’t just allowed this para saktan lang tayo kundi para may matutunan tayo at mas mag-grow pa bilang mga Kristiyano.

Remember the refining process of a gold, it must be heated many times to remove its impurities and achieve its greatest value and beauty.

Just like gold, we must also undergo the refining process where God will let us experience heat and expose our weaknesses, our faults, our struggles and our impurities. Yes, heat is hot and uncomfortable, but if we submit to the heat, we are day by day transformed into his likeness.

Kung kinakailangan na dumaan tayo sa matinding apoy o pagsubok sa buhay natin para mas makita ang value o worth natin at mas maging karapat-dapat tayo sa harapan ng Panginoon, then so be it.

I’m praying that soon, those “Lord, whyβ€”” questions will become “Lord, teach me what You want me to learn from this“.

Whatever your current situation right now, sa ano mang area o phase ng buhay mo iyan, I hope and pray that the Lord will always guide you in your ways and give you the wisdom you need whenever you’re about to make tough decisions. Always have a willing heart to learn from God’s lesson. πŸ™‚πŸ₯°β€

ACT LIKE DAVID IN THIS WORLD FULL OF GOLIATHS

(Hey guys, I re-uploaded this blog content from my previous blog site, I Write For Him)

This pandemic has taught me so much in life. I learned how to appreciate the little and big things we got to do because of freedom. It’s been 48 days since I last went to the mall. I really miss that feeling! But I didn’t wrote this to reminisce those little good memories.

Kumusta ka na ngayon?

Maybe some of you can say β€œOkay pa naman. Still surviving amidst the quarantine.”
But some may also say, β€œEto sobrang stressed na kung paano patatawirin ang buong araw naming pamilya.”

Do you still remember the well-known story of David and Goliath? During the battle of Philistines against the men of Israel. There went out the champion of the Philistine named Goliath, bukod sa nakakatakot na tindig dahil sa laki nito, balot pa ng proteksyong gawa sa tanso ang kanyang buong katawan. And his spear weighed six hundred shekels of iron. Goliath challenged the armies of Israel saying, β€œIf he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us. I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.” (I Samuel 17:9-10) When Saul and men of Israel heard him, they were dismayed and greatly afraid. Fast forward, when David heard the news about Goliath and the battle between Israel and Philistine, he presented himself to fight with Goliath. Saul discouraged him, given that he was so young back then and not a man of war but only a keeper of flock. But here is what David said that made me feel so amazed and proud of his faith in God and bravery, β€œDavid said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.” (I Samuel 17:37) Saul gave his armor to David as well as his staff to fight against Goliath but later on, David put it off of him. Kumuha lang siya ng limang bato and these are what he said,

β€œThen said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” (I Samuel 17:45)

β€œ[46]This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”

β€œ[47]And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.

He stood with faith in the Lord and equipped himself with his slingshot and a bag with five stones against the giant that was covered in full armour. He drew near to Goliath as he put his hand inside his bag, took off the stone and slang it toward the forehead of Goliath. Goliath stumbled and fell off, David ran and stoop up to Goliath, he took his sword and cut off the Philistine’s head.

In the midst of this pandemic, sana maging katulad din tayo ni David.

Just like David, may our FAITH IN GOD be our greatest weapon in times like this. May we never be afraid to face this crisis we’re facing. Know that the Lord has already overcome the battle and through/with Him, we will always win.

Do not give up! Don’t be afraid even if it seems that your enemy and your problems are stronger and bigger than you. Why? Because there’s no battle that the Lord cannot overcome. May the Lord be with you always!

Living a Christian life

I know the text on this photo really caught your attention that’s why you click on this and started reading it. Maybe some of you got offended upon reading the quote stated on the banner, and some are examining their Christian living right now. So, which one are you?

I would like to start this with some questions like, “How long you’ve been a Christian? Also, do you still remember the exact date and place you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Savior?” (You can comment down your spiritual birthday or you can also keep it by yourself)

Upon answering these questions, (okay I’ll make it taglish, so I can fully expressed myself or my thoughts rather to you guys, hehe) Siguro some of you are now celebrating their long years of being a Christian, and some are like new born babies palang sa pananampalataya. Don’t worry, both are okay and valid naman.

Buuuuuutβ€” do you know what really matters? (Guess what?)

What really matters here is your CHRISTIAN LIVING. Again, “Christian Living”.
Did you noticed some changes or difference between your old life and your life today? May nagbago ba?

The Bible says in I Corinthians 5:17, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
So, I therefore conclude na [dapat] may nagbago nga.

Dahil kapatid, I’ll make it straight up to you, kung walang nagbago sa buhay mo mula nang makilala mo ang Panginoon, magiging isang malaking “?” ang buhay-Kristiyano mo. Kung sa kabila ng pagiging taga-sunod (?) mo, at pagkilala sa Panginoon bilang Diyos at Tagapagligtas ay nagpapatuloy ka pa rin sa pagkakasala, I’m telling you thisβ€” it’s not the Lord Jesus Christ you’re pleasing but rather Satan. Hindi si Lord ang naitataas mo. Remember that as a Christian, your life will [and SHOULD] be your first and greatest testimony upang maipakilala mo si Kristo sa ibang tao.

It’s a no no, kapatid. God will never allow that. Bilang isang Kristiyano, you should not be only a hearer of His Word but most importantly, a ‘DOER’. As what James 1:22-25 says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. (ESV)

Yes, we are humans.

WE MUST LIVE A LIFE THAT IS PLEASING TO HIM.
